The Accounting Manager will collaborate closely with existing staff in a variety of areas including monthly close, financial statement oversight, system conversions, and other business management support.
Essential Functions- Manage a team of senior and staff accountants
- Manage the month-end close for multiple domestic businesses
- Manage IFRS lease accounting
- Manage intercompany reconciliation process
- Manage reconciliations of cash and other balance sheet accounts
- Coordinate with FP&A to ensure timely and accurate monthly and quarterly reporting packages
- Coordinate with external auditors for the year-end financial audit
- Support treasury activities and banking compliance
- Support and analysis of new business acquisitions
- Support for new system conversions (operational or financial)
- Ad-hoc financial analysis and assist on special projects with the CFO & Controller
- Must have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Interact with operational management and report to upper management on a consistent basis
- Schedule;
Monday - Friday; 9a - 5p (flexible)
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting (mandatory)
- 5+ years relevant accounting experience
- Large company experience preferred along with leading a month-end close
- SAP or equivalent large ERP experience
