Based in Chicago with advisors across the U.S., we operate as a registered investment advisor (RIA).
As a Billing Analyst, you will be responsible for assisting with the accurate termination of accounts related to advisory fee billing. You will report to the Manager, while also working closely with an analyst and a senior analyst. You will play a pivotal role in executing processes and protocol, while working closely with other departments, as well as cross-functionally to execute the team’s goals.
Together, this team will support ongoing reporting & analysis, account terminations, integration activities, and servicing advisor teams with billing-related inquiries.
- Support the processing of account terminations by ensuring accurate, timely calculation and execution of client fees and refunds
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with advisor teams to ensure alignment and support across the termination and billing process.
- Address advisor team billing inquiries and deliver prompt, accurate resolutions.
- Retrieve, organize, and consolidate monthly reports from primary custodians to streamline data review.
- Monitor, document, and authorize a workflow changes associated with fee adjustments
- Support project-based initiatives by ensuring data integrity and accuracy throughout all phases of the project.
- Assist in governing, adhering, and reporting on internal controls and procedures to maintain regulatory standards, ensure compliance, enhance efficiency, and reduce errors. Track and support remediation.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages teamwork, accountability, and innovation.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- 2+ years of Billing, Accounts Receivable, or related field experience
- Financial industry experience, preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Excel
- Coverage on the first day of employment for medical, dental, and vision insurance
