Prairie State College seeks to fill positions for Summer 2026 First 5-week session begins the week of May 26 and ends June 25. Second 5-week session begins the week of June 29 and ends July 30. This is part II of a two-semester sequence of study on the anatomy and physiology of the human body. It also covers senses, endocrine system, digestive tract, nutrition, metabolism, respiratory system, cardiovascular system, lymphatic system, urinary system, water and electrolyte balance, reproductive system, human growth and development, and human genetics.

Minimum Qualifications
Master of Science with minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in biology or closely related area.
Experience in teaching in the above listed area at the college level.
Experience in conducting biology lab activities in the above listed area at college.
Excellent communication skills.
Experience using an LMS.
Preferred Qualifications
PhD. in Biology or closely related area.
Online teaching certification.
Anticipated Work Hours and Days
Salary
Adjunct faculty members at PSC are paid by the number of hours they are in the classroom (contact hours). Pay Schedule for new adjunct faculty: $934.98 per credit hour
