Reporting to the National Sales Director, the AS Regional Sales Manager will form, leverage, and maintain relationships with the architectural and design community across the country. The incumbent’s goal is to create specifications for products and to increase the reach of the brand to drive increased revenues. This will be achieved through direct communication with individual clients and independent representative communications.

The role will strategically work to grow the existing sales representative’s annual opportunity creation and close rates.

What You’ll Do
  • Serve as an expert on not only company products but also knowledgeable on competitive brands and the industry to provide technical expertise for the successful specification of our product.
  • Communicate with the Sales Team and independent representative network for product sales coordination.
  • Identify relevant projects, key players, and decision-makers with the goal of increasing the frequency of product specifications by architects and designers during the design phase of projects.
  • Develop and grow relationships with key industry contacts including architects, designers, general contractors, installers, and end users.
  • Report and track pertinent opportunity changes and information using our CRM software regarding project specifications, pricing, changes, and progress.
  • Demonstrate leadership skills and ability to represent the company brand through organizing, facilitating, and leading meetings.
  • Display a level of professionalism and understanding that protects the company’s interest while advocating for the customer experience.
  • Operate with understanding and compassion in all interactions within and outside of the company.
  • Provide ongoing technical support with field expertise. Offers guidance and education to architects and designers through regular calls and through active participation in key networking events.
  • Guide project specifications to ensure manufacturability and feasibility on projects prior to specification, quoting, or project handoff.
