Trialco is searching for an AP Accountant to support projects at the manufacturing facility. This position is the conduit for providing valuable insights by analyzing and interpreting complex financial data. The AP Accountant is responsible for processing and verifying invoices, processing payments and reconciling vendor accounts.
Core Responsibilities- Process and code invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Regularly maintain detailed reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions and outgoing payments.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly reports for review.
- Support accounts payable, billing, accounts receivable.
- Assist in maintaining the general ledger.
- Reconcile bank accounts daily.
- Track Capital Expenditures and Fixed Assets.
- Verify entries and cross-reference system reports for balances.
- Utilize accounting software, to maintain accurate and up-to-date cost accounting records.
- Assist inventory cycle count process and reconcile any discrepancies.
- Perform special projects and additional duties as required.
- Participate in the budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Adhere to all company internal controls and policies.
- Bachelor's Degree Accounting or a related field (CPA certification is a plus) and 2-5+ years relevant experience, preferred.
- Working experience and knowledge with cost accounting principles and practices.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Proficiency in using ERP systems, accounting software, such as ACPAC, Quick Books and Excel.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
- Must have the ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality of information and meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills. Team player.
- Well organized and detail oriented.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards relate to cost accounting.
- Must present a professional appearance and demeanor.
- High critical thinking skills, analytical and problem-solving skills to solve, conclude, analyze, evaluate alternatives and present solutions that are consistent with business objectives and strategy.

WORK ENVIRONMENT- Most of the time is spent in an office setting outside of the production plant or warehouse center. The environment will include, at times walking onto the plant production floor where there is weather and non-weather related hot or humid conditions, extreme cold, working near moving mechanical parts or equipment.
- The noise level in the work environment is quiet in the office, but can be loud when on the production floor, warehouse or loading areas.
- Frequently required to sit.
