General Pit Laborers - Cheyenne, WY
We are seeking dedicated and hard‑working General Laborers to join our team. The role involves assisting with various tasks at construction sites or plant/pit locations, primarily at our Cheyenne, WY aggregate pit.
Responsibilities- Works safely and follows all company policies.
- Measures distance from grade stakes, drives stakes, and stretches tight lines.
- Uses various power and hand tools.
- Signals operators of construction equipment to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery to conform to grade specifications.
- Levels earth using pick or shovel.
- Performs flagging duties as needed.
- Makes use of small equipment including bobcat, tractor, roller, or moves between sites as required.
- Follows all Knife River, MSHA, and OSHA safety guidelines.
- Can work in all types of weather conditions.
- Establishes and maintains positive and effective working relationships with all personnel while performing all duties safely and productively to ensure quality work.
- 1–3 months of verifiable experience.
- Valid class C state driver’s license and acceptable driving record, as per Knife River Fleet policy.
- Regular attendance required.
