ResponsibilitiesThis is a 100% travel position***
- Understand and implement Mas Tec Communications Group (MNS) Health Safety and Environmental Policies. (Safety Manual).
- Understand and implement Industry standards (OSHA, TIA
10-48, NATE CTS, and ANSI) - Ensure safety requirements at your sites and with your crew
- Oversee the daily operations and quality of work performed at assigned sites
- Maintain daily paperwork required for the site and the crew
- Implement and follow through with job instructions provided by leadership
- Compile all site‑specific closeout documentation for your work effort.
- Upload closeout documentation to customer interfaces.
- Coordinate with customer representative for site‑related activities and maintain a good working relationship with a customer representative.
- Provide leadership, and guidance and actively train/promote learning to all crew members
- Always maintain equipment and vehicles in an operational condition
- Validate daily timesheets for Management.
- Serve as a mentor to new less experienced technicians
- Other duties as assigned.
- Reinforcing tower legs, bracing, or diagonals
- Bracing swaps and change outs.
- Half pipe and flat plate installs.
- Adding or replacing gusset plates, bolts, or hardware
- Upgrading anchor rod or bolts
- Foundation modifications
- Welding prep on transition stiffeners half pipe anchor rod brackets
- Elevated welding
- Bolt on modifications - horizontals or sub-horizontal reinforcing
- Tower extension installs
- Guy wire change outs
- Plumb and tension
- Guy pull off and torque arm installs
- Base plate grout installs
- Safety is a part of your day to day
- You have a track record of completing work with a high level of quality
- You have a knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy a hands‑on approach to your work
- You are looking for long‑term projects
- You enjoy getting your hands dirty with your team
- You have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- You have a minimum of 5 years of industry experience
- You demonstrate expertise in construction skills, rigging, safety, and general industry knowledge.
- You have a working knowledge of safety standards and regulations.
- Owning an NWSA certification is a plus
- You possess job‑related certifications-First Aid, Safety, Rescue, Wiltron, Anritsu, Fiber, PIM, CPR, and Connector attachment
- You have organizational, computer, and communication skills
- You must be able to read and interpret site plans, RFDS, construction drawings, and SOW
- You must have a valid driver’s license and driving record meeting the company policy conditions
