Seeking Pipe Welder/Fabricators in Cheyenne
Cheyenne, WY
$25–$35/hr (DOE)
Full-Time | On-Site | ~6‑Month Contract-to-Hire
About the OpportunityWe are seeking a skilled MIG Welder/Fabricator to join a growing team that supports structural steel work across industries such as oil & gas, construction, wind energy, and custom fabrication. This role is hands‑on, fast‑paced, and offers a long‑term path if you’re looking to grow with a company.
This is a clean and organized shop environment; however, it is not climate controlled.
What You’ll Do- Perform MIG welding on structural steel, pipe, beams, and custom projects
- Complete trailer and structural steel repairs
- Perform occasional TIG welding on smaller components
- Assist with light fabrication work
- Read and interpret basic drawings/blueprints (preferred)
- Professional MIG welding experience
- Ability to weld steel pipe
- Reliability, consistency, and high‑quality workmanship
- Blueprint reading
- TIG welding experience
- Welding certification
- On‑site interview
- Welding test including:
- 6G MIG pipe weld
- Fabrication of a small box
- (Estimated 1–2 hours)
- Small but growing team (approx. 30 teammates on the shop floor)
- Hands‑on, supportive work culture
- Drug test required (includes THC)
$25.00–$35.00/hr ot paid at 1.5x.
