Seeking Pipe Welder/Fabricators in Cheyenne

$25–$35/hr (DOE)

Full-Time | On-Site | ~6‑Month Contract-to-Hire

We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder/Fabricator to join a growing team that supports structural steel work across industries such as oil & gas, construction, wind energy, and custom fabrication. This role is hands‑on, fast‑paced, and offers a long‑term path if you’re looking to grow with a company.

This is a clean and organized shop environment; however, it is not climate controlled.

• Perform MIG welding on structural steel, pipe, beams, and custom projects
• Complete trailer and structural steel repairs
• Perform occasional TIG welding on smaller components
• Assist with light fabrication work
• Read and interpret basic drawings/blueprints (preferred)

• Professional MIG welding experience
• Ability to weld steel pipe
• Reliability, consistency, and high‑quality workmanship
• Blueprint reading

• TIG welding experience
• Welding certification

• On‑site interview
• Welding test including:
• 6G MIG pipe weld
• Fabrication of a small box
• (Estimated 1–2 hours)

• Small but growing team (approx. 30 teammates on the shop floor)
• Hands‑on, supportive work culture
• Drug test required (includes THC)

$25.00–$35.00/hr ot paid at 1.5x.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cheyenne, WY.

This is a fully onsite position in Cheyenne, WY.
