General Laborers

Overview

We are seeking dedicated and hard-working General Laborers to join our team for the 2026 Construction season. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various tasks at construction sites or plant/pit locations. Start of work will be Spring 2026.

• Persons shall be able to work safely and follow all company policies.
• Measures distance from grade stakes, drives stakes & stretches tight line.
• Uses various power and hand tools. Bolts, nails, aligns and blocks up under forms.
• Signals operators of construction equipment to facilitate alignment, movement and adjustment of machinery to conform to grade specifications.
• Levels earth using pick or shovel.
• Performs flagging duties as needed.
• May operate small equipment including bobcat, tractor, or roller or move from one site to another.
• Finishes freshly poured cement or concrete using float, trowel or screed.
• Maintains positive and effective working relationships with all personnel and performs duties safely and productively to ensure quality work.

• 1-3 months verifiable experience preferred.
• Must possess a valid class C state driver s license and have an acceptable driving record, per Knife River Fleet policy.
• Regular attendance required.
