Position: Pipefitter
Location: Cheyenne, Wyoming, United States
Pay: $28-$32 per hour (DOE)
Hours: 45-55 hours per week, including some Saturdays
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Pipefitter to join our team in Cheyenne. The Pipefitter will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing piping systems in industrial and commercial settings. This role requires expertise in pipe fitting techniques, the ability to read and interpret blueprints, and a strong commitment to safety. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, skilled with various piping materials, and able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair piping systems in industrial and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
- Cut, thread, and assemble pipe materials with precision.
- Ensure all installations comply with OSHA and company safety standards.
- Perform inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of piping systems.
- Work with a variety of materials, including metal, PVC, and copper.
- Proven experience as a Pipefitter or in a related role.
- Strong knowledge of pipe fitting techniques, tools, and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Must have current OSHA certification and follow all safety regulations.
- Certification in pipe fitting or related trade is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and flexible with schedule.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
