Position Overview

Craftco is seeking an energetic and relationship-driven Traveling Sales Representative to support and grow our presence throughout Wyoming and Colorado’s Front Range region.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the road, building strong partnerships, and helping customers solve real manufacturing challenges. Craftco has built a strong and loyal customer base over decades, and this position includes an established book of business to maintain and grow, along with significant opportunity to expand our presence in the southern Wyoming and Front Range markets.

At Craftco, we pride ourselves on being problem solvers for our customers. Our team works closely with manufacturers, engineers, and operations leaders to provide solutions in machining, fabrication, welding, and industrial manufacturing.

The Traveling Sales Representative will be responsible for maintaining and growing existing customer relationships while developing new business opportunities within the assigned territory.

This role involves frequent travel to customer facilities, job sites, and industry partners. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys being in front of customers and representing Craftco’s capabilities in the field.

Territory
  • Wyoming (with focus on southern Wyoming)
  • Colorado Front Range (Denver and surrounding manufacturing regions)
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with Craftco’s existing customer base
  • Identify and develop new opportunities within manufacturing and industrial sectors
  • Travel regularly to customer facilities to understand needs and provide solutions
  • Represent Craftco’s machining, fabrication, welding, and manufacturing capabilities
  • Prepare and present quotes, proposals, and project information
  • Collaborate with internal production and engineering teams to ensure successful project execution
  • Track customer activity, sales opportunities, and project updates
  • Work toward meeting and exceeding sales growth goals

Qualifications
  • Previous sales experience preferred (industrial or manufacturing sales a plus)
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing, machining, welding, or fabrication environments
  • Ability to understand and discuss manufacturing processes with customers
  • Willingness to travel regularly throughout the territory
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel by vehicle
Travel Expectations

This is a field‑focused position that requires regular travel throughout Wyoming and Colorado.

Historically, this role includes:

  • Being on the road multiple days per week
  • Frequent 2–3 day regional trips
  • Consistent customer visits across the territory
