Overview

Supervise and direct employees, plan and assign daily goals, tasks and assignments. The Cage/Vault Supervisor ensures that all cashiers/clerks follow established cash handling procedures. Also, ensures all cashiers/clerks treat customers with prompt, efficient, and courteous customer service.

Work Schedule
  • Requires morning, afternoon and evenings. Monday through Sunday.
  • Request to be scheduled off for a specific day requires advance notification and approval
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Under the direct supervision of the Cage/Vault Manager.
  • Performs cash transactions when needed and is responsible for a bank that must be kept in balance at all times when issued.
  • Coordinates scheduling of cashier/clerks.
  • Set up beginning banks for all cashiers.
  • Prepare bank deposits on scheduled days, and maintain constant communication with staff Accountant to know which accounts to deposit to.
  • Verify all money and coupons turned in by all cashiers.
  • Audit employee close drawer report in the event of a variance.
  • Perform a daily check of vault balances and credit cards at the end of each shift.
  • Be available to assist in the event of questions pertaining to Check verification, credit card, coupon redemption, Player’s Club redemption, etc.
  • Prepare daily reports as outlined by the General Manager.
  • Maintain close communication with the General Manager.
  • Secure all monies and other items of cash value at the end of each shift.
  • All duties are not listed, as this is only an overview of your duties, you will assist in other areas as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Initiate disciplinary action when necessary.
  • Schedule employee evaluations.

Job Requirements
  • Sit and/or stand continuously and perform job functions for a full shift with lunch break.
  • Requires bending, twisting, reaching, climbing, stooping, crouching, kneeling, lifting and pulling.
  • Move objects up to and exceeding 25lbs. with reasonable accommodations.
  • Office environment with some casino floor environment.
Qualification Standards
  • Minimum High School Education or GED equivalent combination of training and experience with willingness to obtain training as requested
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years Cash Handling or Banking Experience
  • Applicant must possess the ability to communicate well with the general public
  • Must have knowledge of accounting principles
  • Must have general knowledge of computer/cash register operations
  • Must have general knowledge of personal computer software.
  • The ability to operate currency and coin counters.
  • Must have good dexterity
  • Must possess the ability to know when to delegate tasks to subordinates
  • Must be bondable.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug test.
  • Must maintain valid Cheyenne
    - Arapaho Gaming License.
