Job Details:

• Work flexible 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts with variable scheduling options

• Standard 10-hour shifts run 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with some variable 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM shifts

• Handle 7-10 call shifts per month including one weekend of call

• Weekend call requirements include 24-hour Saturday/Sunday call once per month

• Holiday call responsibilities required

• 30-minute call response time requirement

• 2-week orientation with preceptor provided

• Required certifications: BLS, TNCC or ACLS, CNOR

• Must have versatility in Da Vinci robotic surgery, total joint replacements, and general surgery experience

• Vascular surgery experience preferred

• Scrubbing experience preferred if available

• Work in 9 operating suites handling approximately 30 cases per day

• Common cases include neuro procedures, orthopedic surgeries, vascular, open heart, GYN, GU, ENT procedures

• No pediatric cases

• Charge nurse responsibilities included

• Scrubs provided

• Use Epic EMR system

• No floating requirements

• Permanent address must be at least 25 miles from facility location

• 2 cancellations allowed per 13-week assignment

The facility is equipped with advanced surgical technology including Da Vinci robotic systems, Mako orthopedic equipment, and Mazor spine technology. The organization maintains Level 2 trauma designation and provides acute care services with a focus on creating a traveler-friendly environment for temporary staff members.
