Position OverviewPreferred location:

Rock Springs, WY, depending on location.
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment and auxiliary equipment.
- Perform heavy mechanical maintenance and replacement of reciprocating and turbine engines and compressors.
- Mentor team members and other personnel on proper operation and maintenance of mechanical equipment.
- Identify, report, and assist in correcting safety and environmental concerns.
- Complete documentation and paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
- Perform all work in compliance with company standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrate performance toward operational excellence.
- Maintain a regular, dependable attendance and high performance.
- Adhere to safety policies and act as a company representative when interacting with contractors and vendors.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Experience in mechanical maintenance of reciprocating/centrifugal compressor units.
- Experience with turbine engines and natural gas compressors, auxiliary engines, and related equipment preferred.
- Valid driver license. Driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers.
- Strong mechanical skills and knowledge of compressor engines.
- Ability to troubleshoot and maintain natural gas plant equipment and auxiliary equipment.
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, operating systems, company software).
- Good communication skills.
- Team orientation and work with direction from supervisors.
- Administrative tasks: ordering parts, completing timesheets, maintaining a company vehicle.
- Manual dexterity and visual acuity.
- Lift up to 50 lbs, exert up to 100 lbs, stand and walk, kneel, bend, squat, twist head and back for extended periods.
- Work in confined spaces, climb ladders, work with hands above head, work in adverse weather.
- Industrial environment: engine rooms and auxiliary buildings.
- Available for callouts 24/7, except during company-sponsored paid time off.
- Overnight travel up to 50% of the time.
- Clear DOT drug screen and background check required.
Pay range is $36.00 - $50.00 per hour. Position includes a discretionary annual incentive plan.
