Aircraft Maintenance Technician

Overview

The Fountain Group is currently seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician for a prominent client. This position is located in Cheyenne, WY
.

Payrate: $34.67 - $42.43 /hr W2

12 months contract – possible extension based on performance & budget.

Shift: 1st shift to start. Must be able to work all shifts 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

• Minimum of 3 years' experience with Military aircraft maintenance is required.
• Must have thorough knowledge of aircraft unique tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, sheet metal brakes and sheers is required.
• Must be willing to work variable shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd shift) is required.

• Experience with MH-139 maintenance and/or modifications
• Experience with rotorcraft maintenance
• Hold or held an Airframe and Power plant (A&P) License
• General Mechanic experience desirable

• Mechanic, Avionics & Structures positions available
• Assembles, disassembles and/or modifies systems by changing, removing, replacing or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes
• Oversees assembly, disassembly or overhaul
• Configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment
• Troubleshoots complex pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components
• Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components
• Documents procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications and inspection results)
• Inspects components and verifies repairs for flight worthiness requirements
• Works under general direction
• This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
