Hydrovac Operator - Cheyenne, WY

• Operate equipment in areas including utility line exposure, debris removal, slot trenching, and digging.
• Operate hydrovac equipment safely and professionally.
• Set up and inspect grounding and/or bonding procedures for operation.
• Ensure all equipment and components are in good working condition.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections following Magnum’s policies and procedures for routine maintenance.
• Safely and efficiently load and chain down equipment for transport.
• Understand load securement and hours of service regulations.
• Follow all local, provincial, and federal compliance regulations and rules.
• Demonstrate a commitment to environmental compliance and safe work practices. Follow safety standards set by Magnum and the customer.
• Complete and maintain all required paperwork and documentation within set timelines, including daily logs, dispatch and trip reports, and timesheets.
• Ensure customer and client satisfaction by providing excellent customer service at all times.
• Perform general housekeeping to keep units clean and operating properly.
• Keep the shop and yard clean, including floors, washrooms, and wash bay.
• Participate in training and development activities.
• Other related duties as required.

• Class 3 or 1 (Canada) / Class A CDL (U.S.) license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum one year of hydrovac operating experience.
• Knowledge of basic underground utilities.
• Physically capable of moving/lifting heavy objects up to 23 kg, bending, standing, and climbing repeatedly for extended periods.
• Able to work outdoors for extended periods and in all types of weather conditions.
• Willing to travel for assignments, up to two weeks at a time. Accommodations provided.
• Willing to support other business lines in the off season.
• Able to work overtime and travel.
• Legally eligible to work in the country the role is based out of.

• Experience in a similar environment (shop sites, remote locations).
• Knowledge of Federal Hours of Service.
• Paperwork and computer skills with the ability to make timely submissions.
• Maintenance knowledge, mechanically inclined, with the ability to troubleshoot.
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, reliable, and dependable.
• Flexible and able to adapt to change.
• Understands the importance of safety.
• Team player and customer service focused.
• Demonstrated initiative and results-oriented.

• Possesses safety tickets.
• Experience dealing with customers.
