Senior DeFi Engineer – General (with Blockchain Experience)

Join Autheo, part of Launch Legends, as a part‑time equity cofounder working on the Autheo Layer‑Zero OS and its integrated Layer‑1 blockchain. We are looking for a senior DeFi engineer to design and build end‑to‑end DeFi solutions across smart contracts, exchanges, and cross‑chain infrastructure.

Autheo, our flagship project, is an AI‑enabled Layer‑Zero OS with an integrated Layer‑1 blockchain and fully decentralized infrastructure, including compute, storage, identity, and marketplaces.

• Develop DeFi solutions: design smart contracts for liquidity pools, staking, governance, and cross‑chain swaps.
• Implement hybrid CEX/DEX models using APIs from Binance and Coinbase.
• Build token redistribution systems that balance economics and on‑chain performance.
• Optimize DeFi applications for high throughput, integrating Patricia Trie and consensus mechanisms.
• Integrate non‑custodial wallets with fiat ramps and virtual card support.
• Build front‑end dApp UIs using React.js/Next.js for seamless user experience.
• Embed post‑quantum cryptography and perform smart contract audits for security and compliance.
• Generate zk‑proof trails for KYC/AML and governance transparency.
• Design interoperable solutions compatible with EVM, Polkadot, and Hyperledger ecosystems.
• Build bridges and integrate oracles and off‑chain APIs for hybrid DeFi operations.
• Deliver SDKs (Type Script/Python) for rapid DeFi module deployment.
• Contribute open‑source components and community‑driven standards.
• Collaborate with primitives, infrastructure, and data teams to drive scalability and user adoption.
• Lead product reviews, mentor engineers, and publish insights at community events.

• End‑to‑end DeFi MVP with AMM pools and staking on testnet.
• Hybrid CEX/DEX prototype for liquidity aggregation.
• Audited tokenomics system with governance integration.
• Non‑custodial wallet module supporting fiat ramp.
• Zero‑config SDKs for DeFi operations.
• Open‑source toolkit driving 100+ integrations.
• Presentation on DeFi ecosystem leadership at Devcon 2026.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 7+ years of general DeFi development with full‑stack blockchain launches.
• Expertise in Solidity, React.js, Node.js, and protocols such as Polkadot JAM.
• Proficiency in tokenomics, AMMs, cross‑chain, and cryptographic security.

• Experience founding DeFi startups or P2E economies.
• Unity integration or data‑privacy DeFi tools experience.
• Contributions to JAM Protocol or open‑source liquidity models.

• Precision in end‑to‑end DeFi design and team leadership.
• Strong technical communication and collaboration.
• Passion for global Web3 DeFi ecosystems.

This is a part‑time equity and token‑based role. You will receive equity in Launch Legends, Autheo, and the WFO Creator Network, plus token allocations in the Autheo blockchain. Salary is expected to start within 4–5 months after additional funding.
