• Perform duties as a Respiratory Therapist on assigned floors (ER/ICU) with patient loads that fluctuate by shift.
• Draw ABGs with EPOC and perform related competencies; EKGs when needed.
• Assist with intubation as needed; protect and manage ventilated patients; respond to high-risk deliveries as required.
• Navigate inpatient settings; may become a preceptor; float as needed across hospital departments.
• Maintain equipment such as vents, CPAP/BiPAP, high-flow systems; assist with transports and bronchs as required.

Shifts are 05:30–18:00; block scheduling attempted. In April 2023, self-scheduling may be allowed. 12-week schedule with 4–5 therapists on days and 3–4 on nights. Weekend requirements: every other weekend. No holiday requirements unless staffing needs it. Floating throughout the hospital. Royal blue scrubs with CRMC logo.

Inpatient care with units including ICU (15 beds) and pediatric floor; equipment includes Puritan Bennett 980, Draeger nursery equipment, Philips CPAP/BiPAP, Dream Station, V60s, EV300, Optiflow, and other transport gear. 24/7 in-house coverage with hospitalists or intensivists on call.
