GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
This seasonal position will serve as the educator/programmer for Curt Gowdy’s Little House on the Park, a unique venue within Curt Gowdy State Park. The mission is to educate and inspire children to understand the importance of kindness in the world.

- Little House on the Park requires a creative individual to execute programs that inspire children to learn and behave with kindness.
- We are looking for candidates with a passion for working with children and fostering goodness in the world.
- Successful candidates will work with the park and Cheryl Gowdy & family to promote and facilitate kindness programming for children and families who come to Little House events.
- This facility primarily caters to youth ages 3-12, and their families. Example programs include story-time and kindness-oriented crafts.
- Working at the Little House requires organization and the ability to execute programming based on a planned schedule, along with flexibility as different groups come and go throughout the day.
Preference may be given to applicants who can work evenings, outdoors, and on a Friday through Sunday schedule.
Must be passionate about the mission and vision and be able to connect program attendees to that vision.
Must be at least 16 years of age.
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.

Physical Working Conditions- Work will be performed outdoors in all weather conditions.
- FLSA:
Non-exempt - This is a seasonal position, working Friday through Sunday with some planning days before the regular schedule begins.
- The employment period is approximately Memorial Day to Labor Day.
