Job Summary:

Med Star Health is looking for a full‑time Patient Service Coordinator to join our Ambulatory Services department in Chevy Chase, MD. As a Patient Service Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing the best customer service to patients by greeting them with a warm, friendly smile, managing check‑in/out processes, gathering demographic information, verifying insurance, taking copayments, and scheduling appointments. • Manage intake of patients into the practice, screen for emergent conditions, register, verify, and explain patient responsibility for payment.
• Coordinate efficient patient flow through the practice or hospitalised department assigned.

• 6 months – 1 year of providing high‑quality customer service, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• High School Diploma.

This position has a hiring range of $18.33 – $31.61.
