Lead Accountant

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records across trusts, investments, and related entities
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reconciliations
• Track and report investment activity across multiple asset classes, including private equity, real estate, and securities
• Support income tax compliance for individuals, trusts, and special-purpose entities; coordinate with external tax advisors
• Monitor tax law changes, manage tax notices, and ensure ongoing regulatory compliance
• Maintain strong internal controls and resolve financial discrepancies
• Prepare concise financial reports for leadership and stakeholder review

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA preferred
• 7+ years of progressive accounting and tax experience
• Strong background in individual and trust tax compliance
• Experience accounting for investments and complex entity structures
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with modern accounting systems
• Proven discretion and professionalism handling sensitive financial information
