We are seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead various construction projects and manage multiple trade contractor crews during construction and through turnover. This role supports a commercial general contractor renowned for delivering high-quality customer interiors and renovation projects across sectors such as restaurants, retail, hospitality, office spaces, and complex exterior work.
Responsibilities- Report to the Senior VP of Construction Operations and collaborate with Project Managers for each project.
- Coordinate with trade contractors and their subcontractors to ensure completion of high-quality work.
- Supervise large, complex projects from inception to completion.
- Document and communicate work plans effectively.
- Manage the project budget for general contracting and site services.
- Monitor safety performance and ensure safety compliance.
- Lead weekly contractor meetings and oversee daily field reports.
- Communicate effectively with architects and owners.
- 5+ years of experience supporting custom interior construction projects valued at $1 million.
- Experience working with general contractors, owners, or designers.
- Experience supporting Food & Beverage projects.
- Proficiency in running safety procedures.
- Experience independently running a project.
- Experience managing subcontractors.
- Excellent organizational, problem‑solving, and presentation skills.
- Client interfacing experience.
- Ability to manage a fast‑paced environment.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in a related field is a plus.
The work environment involves 90 % of time spent on project sites and 10 % in the office for meetings and documentation. Projects are located in the DMV area and typically last 4‑6 months. Onsite hours are from 6:30 am to 2:00 pm, depending on noise restrictions. The company is known for specializing in large luxury interiors, including hotels, offices, and restaurants, with projects ranging from $500 k to $20 m.

Pay And BenefitsPay range: $115,000 – $140,000 / yr.
