Position Type: Full-Time

Chesterton Manor is seeking a dedicated Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) to join our skilled nursing team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely administering medications and supporting resident care in accordance with physician orders and facility policies.

• Verify the identity of residents prior to medication administration
• Administer prescribed medications and document medication name, dosage, route, and time of administration
• Observe residents for reactions or side effects and report any concerns to nursing staff promptly
• Take vital signs as required and monitor resident responses to medications
• Document reasons when prescribed medications are not administered
• Maintain accurate and timely medication administration records in compliance with regulations

• Completion of a state-approved Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) program
• Successful completion of Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) designation requirements per Indiana state regulations
• Ability to follow medication administration protocols and maintain resident safety
