Summer Camp Counselor

• Lead and supervise campers during daily activities, ensuring safety and active participation in sports, arts, theater, and outdoor adventures
• Foster an inclusive environment that promotes teamwork, respect, and positive behavior management among children of diverse backgrounds
• Implement age-appropriate curriculum elements, including early childhood education techniques, tutoring support, and creative arts projects
• Assist with classroom management strategies to maintain order and facilitate smooth transitions between activities
• Provide basic first aid when necessary and respond promptly to any health or safety concerns in accordance with camp protocols
• Support children with special needs or behavioral challenges by applying appropriate teaching methods and behavior management techniques
• Collaborate with fellow counselors and staff to plan engaging programs aligned with camp themes and goals
