At Stagecoach, our Bus Depot Cleaning Operative play a vital behind‑the‑scenes role in keeping our buses clean, safe, and ready to hit the road. You’ll be an essential part of a supportive team helping to maintain a modern fleet as our depots continue to evolve, with low‑emission and electric vehicles.

• Fuelling and oiling our fleet of buses and coaches
• Driving (shunting) vehicles safely around the depot and parking them correctly
• Cleaning the interior and exterior of our vehicles, including deep cleans and under‑chassis washes using approved equipment
• Keeping our premises tidy and hygienic, including washrooms
• Carrying out vehicle changeovers, breakdown support, and collecting/delivering vehicles or parts when needed
• Logging fuel and oil usage and completing daily checks on equipment
• Supporting your team and contributing to a safe, efficient depot operation

• A UK driving licence licence
• A positive, can‑do attitude and pride in doing a job well
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to keeping things clean and safe
• A team player who communicates clearly and supports others
• Willingness to learn, we’ll train you on everything you need to know
