Delivery Driver (3.5-tonne) Chesterfield

Location: Field-based / Customer Sites
Salary: Up to £35,000 + Pension
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 7:00 am 4:00 pm Flexibility required (including occasional weekends/holidays)

We re partnering with a growing industrial hazardous products solutions provider supporting a range of sectors. This is a customer-facing, hands-on role combining safe deliveries, technical tank knowledge, maintenance, and relationship-led sales activity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely load, prepare, and operate a 3.5-tonne delivery vehicle carrying hazardous products

• Plan and manage delivery routes efficiently, considering tank sizes, customer constraints, and priorities

• Conduct pre- and post-delivery vehicle and equipment checks

• Complete delivery documentation and obtain customer sign-off (paper or digital)

• Perform annual inspections on tanks, ensuring compliance and reporting findings

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence with a clean record

• Previous experience delivering dangerous goods

• Strong safety mindset with ability to perform dynamic risk assessments

• Excellent time management and organisational skills

• High attention to detail for paperwork and compliance
