Key Responsibilities:
* The qualifying of all new enquiries received, to ensure they are dealt with in a timely manner and followed up within 48hrs.
* Working closely with other members of the Sales & Technical teams to ensure the customer receives the best possible proposal.
* Daily analysis of Quote Conversion and timely follow up of all quotes to increase conversion percentage.
* Working proactively with the Business Development Manager.
* Proactively identify new business opportunities within existing customer base and the wider market.
* Development and nurturing existing and new customer relationships.
* Electronic filing of all information relevant to quotations thus enabling others to process sales orders & produce manufacturing specifications.
* Communication and involvement with other team members to achieve company goals.
* Contribution towards building and maintaining a constant and future revenue pipeline.
* Re-engage with customers showing dormant sales cycles.
* Create strong business relationships with existing customers and partners, working closely with the rest of the team.
* Ensure we are always putting our best foot forward and quoting exactly what is required.
* Keep knowledge up to date in the Data CRM system and Quote Conversion.
* Exceed quarterly and annual conversion sales targets, maximise revenue.
* Maintenance of the sample bank, with other colleagues.
* Participation in Meetings at the request of Manager and MD.
* Any other reasonable request made by Management.
