Job Description

The Assistant Merchandiser will support the merchandiser and wider team managing omni intake, stock flow and product data accuracy. An exciting opportunity to become part of our growing merchandising team in this thriving apparel business with great career progression potential.

Responsibilities
  • Accurately undertake product set up within internal system.
  • Raise purchase orders and send to suppliers within given deadlines.
  • Run weekly trading reports.
  • Action daily replenishment orders in Netsuite.
  • Review retail sales and adjust allocation plans to maximise sales.
  • Review proposed stock transfers between sales channel to ensure best sell through.
  • Review supplier date changes & production variances, recommending appropriate actions to take.
  • Collate & communicate product launch data and provide intake visibility to wider teams.
  • Support system updates and amendments.
  • Build strong working relationships with retail, ecommerce and operations functions.
  • Produce Ad hoc reports to support informed category decision making.
Experience and Skills
  • Previous experience within a similar role for an Apparel business.
  • Highly organised, detail‑oriented, numerical and analytical.
  • Strong Excel skills are essential.
  • Previous knowledge of Netsuite is advantageous and/or other inventory management systems.
