Responsibilities- Carry out meal preparations, orders and staff requirements hygiene standards.
- Prepare special diet meals in accordance with instructions from the care staff.
- Ensure a high level of service for all meal times.
- Complete all documentation relating to HACCP.
- Report any equipment defects to the Home Manager.
- Ensure good quality and portion control.
- Assist the Head Chef with four weekly menu planning.
- Perform any ad hoc duties to meet service delivery for our residents.
- Must have previous cooking experience.
- Can work well as part of a team and independently, showing creativity and passion for the work.
- Can follow and prioritise tasks and responsibilities.
- Proficiency in food preparation techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Great communication skills.
- Part-time contract.
- Hours:
24, including weekend work. - Pay: £12.81 per hour, equivalent to £15,986.
- 28 days annual leave including bank holidays (pro rata for part-time).
