The Role

Inspire Resourcing Ltd are looking for Manual Machine Operators to work with conventional workshop machinery to produce precision metal components. This is a hands‑on role using levers, hand wheels, and mechanical controls. You’ll manufacture parts from technical drawings, check dimensions, and maintain high quality standards.

Full training is provided on capstan lathes, hydraulic presses, thread‑tapping machines, and our internal processes.

This role suits someone who enjoys practical work, has good attention to detail, and is interested in engineering or manufacturing. It’s also ideal for those seeking a long‑term, stable career.

Key Responsibilities

* Set up and operate capstan/turret lathes

* Machine parts to specification (turning, facing, boring, threading)

* Read and interpret engineering drawings

* Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and gauges

* Carry out basic machine cleaning and lubrication

* Load and handle raw materials

Skills & Qualifications

* Experience desirable but not essential - full training provided

* Willingness to learn and a positive, team‑focused attitude

* Ability to work to tight tolerances

* Basic understanding of machining principles (or willingness to learn)

* Strong commitment to safe working practices
