Operator - FTC

Position: Operator - 6 month FTC
Terminal Controller Eastham based role – £40,000 starting salary then £44,000 after 3 months and then £48,500 after passing probation at 6 months 45 hour working week A Terminal Operator is wanted on a permanent basis by a global client of ours. The successful candidate will ensure all operational activities covering the receipt, storage, distribution and safe handling of liquid products are carried out in a timely manner.

This is a permanent opportunity that includes a base salary starting at £38,000 before incremental increases up to a salary of £46,000 after passing probation. Overview of the Terminal Operator role:
Ensure all safety and environmental control procedures are complied with. Ensure compliance with procedures in the receipt, storage and safe handling of the customer's product. Ensure aware of changes to and problems associated with terminal operations and use initiative to handle and resolve matters to ensure the continued operation of the terminal. Monitor loading operations to ensure the safe operation of the terminal.

Key skills and qualifications required for the Terminal Operator role:
Some experience in an operational capacity in a chemicals, oil or gas processing environment. Ability to work a variety of different shift patterns. Proven ability to work as part of a wider team but also possess initiative to carry out duties on your own.
