Senior Salmon are recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Material Controller based in our clients manufacturing facility in Staveley.

This is a Warehouse-based role within a manufacturing facility, based in Staveley, S43 area of Chesterfield.

• Oversee inventory and supply chain according to company guidelines
• Perform critical inventory tasks to ensure the correct quantity of items are in stock
• Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory, including transfers and cycle counts
• Review documentation to search for discrepancies and troubleshoot quantity discrepancies between stock and records
• Develop and implement improvements to existing operational procedures to maximize efficiency
• Collect and analyse data to determine appropriate order quantities, process orders for shipment
• Review operations schedules and production requirements to ensure timely order fulfilment

• Minimum of one year of related experience in Stores, Warehousing, or logistics
• Proficient with computers and other standard office technology
• Familiarity with Jeeves or similar ERP or MRP resource planning software
• Superior organizational skill
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• FLT licence (training will be provided if not available)
• Lean Manufacturing experience
• SEMA Approved Rack Inspector Qualification

40 hours per week (Mon‑Thur 8 am‑5 pm, Fri 8 am‑2 pm).
