Salary: £12.72 per hour + 31p

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday alternate shift patterns. 6-2 then 2-10. 31p shift enhancement and no weekends.

Hours: 37.5

As Dispensing Assistant in a warehouse, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our pharmacy branches and patients receive safe, timely, and accurate deliveries of medication. Working as part of our warehouse team, you will:

• Accurately pick, pack, and label medication and other pharmacy products in line with prescriptions and delivery requirements.
• Support the efficient flow of goods in and out of the warehouse to maintain high service levels.
• Help manage stock rotation and inventory levels, highlighting shortages and ensuring products are stored safely and securely.
• Assist with general warehouse duties including receiving deliveries, stock checks, and maintaining a clean and well‑organised workspace.
• Follow company procedures and comply with all health, safety, and legal standards to ensure the safe handling of medicines.

• A strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, dispensing, or stock‑handling role (desirable).
• NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services or similar qualification (preferred but not essential; training can be provided).
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliability, flexibility, and a commitment to high standards.
