Accounts Payable Clerk

Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be working with a well-established and growing business based in Chesterfield as they look to recruit an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk on a full-time, permanent basis.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the purchase ledger function, contributing to the continued success of the business.

• Processing high volumes of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
• Matching, batching and coding invoices
• Reconciling supplier statements and resolving queries in a timely manner
• Preparing payment runs in line with company procedures
• Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Assisting with month-end processes as required

The ideal candidate will have previous experience within an Accounts Payable or Purchase Ledger role, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage workloads effectively in a fast‑paced environment. You will be a confident communicator with excellent organisational skills and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.

• A salary up to £29,000
• A full-time, permanent position
