The Role:

Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you'll take ownership of a broad range of financial and management reporting responsibilities, helping shape the financial direction of the business. This is a role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, commercially focused environment where your input really makes a difference. Your key responsibilities will include :

• Preparing and analysing monthly management accounts, including consolidations and commentary.
• Tracking and reporting on key operational metrics such as tons processed, margin per deal, and asset performance.
• Producing weekly and monthly financial updates, forecasts, and budgets.
• Monitoring and analysing costs and performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
• Tracking and reviewing pricing models to support profitability.
• Working closely with the Financial Controller to make strategic, data-driven recommendations that support growth and efficiency.
• Providing insight and suggestions for cost‑saving and process improvement initiatives.

• QBE, Part-qualified or qualified (ACCA / CIMA) Management Accountant with strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Confident working with large volumes of data and turning numbers into meaningful insights.
• Strong Excel and systems experience, with excellent attention to detail.
• Commercially minded with the ability to challenge and influence.
• Proactive, curious, and comfortable in a dynamic and evolving environment.
