Part Time Credit Controller

Express Recruitment are recruiting for a leading business in their industry who are recruiting for a part time Credit Controller to join their team based in Chesterfield.

The successful candidate will have experience in a credit control or arrears-focused role, with the confidence to pick up the phone, manage difficult conversations and build relationships clients. The role involves working 21 hours per week, with hybrid working on offer, working in the Chesterfield-based office two days a week.

• Handle bank account management and reconciliation
• Produce financial and operational reports
• Chase historic debt and ensure timely resolution
• Support the Client Accounts Manager and Finance Director with general accounts administration
• Begin legal processes when required, working with solicitors and submitting online claims

• Experience in credit control, including managing and collecting arrears
• Organisational and administrative skills with a methodical approach
• Communicator who can manage challenging phone conversations
• Attention to detail, accuracy and time-management
• Ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines
