Job Description

We are searching for Ground Engineering professionals to join our teams here at AECOM!

Are you ready to challenge the boundaries of what's possible? We're seeking dynamic Geotechnical Engineers/Geologists of all levels, to bring their technical expertise but also an innovative mindset to our teams across the UK.

Whether you come from a traditional geotechnical engineering background or have unconventional experience that adds fresh value, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities
  • Develop projects from concept through to operation, providing engineering and construction services for large-scale projects for major rail and transit agencies.
  • Provide analytical and strategic expertise for every stage of a project.
  • Ensure compliance with UK technical standards and relevant design codes, standards and best practices.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire teams appropriate to your level.
  • Possibly travel throughout the UK as required.

Qualifications
  • Degree (BSc or MSc) in Geotechnical Engineering, Geology, Engineering Geology, or a related field.
  • Progress toward Chartered status would be advantageous but is not a pre-requisite. The team can provide support in achieving chartered status.
  • Demonstrable understanding of current design codes, standards, and best practices in geotechnical design, but also open to exploring new methods and innovations.
  • Proven leadership experience in similar roles, appropriate to your level, with the ability to inspire and lead teams.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the UK.
  • Clean driving licence.
