We are searching for Ground Engineering professionals to join our teams here at AECOM!

Are you ready to challenge the boundaries of what's possible? We're seeking dynamic Geotechnical Engineers/Geologists of all levels, to bring their technical expertise but also an innovative mindset to our teams across the UK.

Whether you come from a traditional geotechnical engineering background or have unconventional experience that adds fresh value, we'd love to hear from you.

• Develop projects from concept through to operation, providing engineering and construction services for large-scale projects for major rail and transit agencies.
• Provide analytical and strategic expertise for every stage of a project.
• Ensure compliance with UK technical standards and relevant design codes, standards and best practices.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire teams appropriate to your level.
• Possibly travel throughout the UK as required.

• Degree (BSc or MSc) in Geotechnical Engineering, Geology, Engineering Geology, or a related field.
• Progress toward Chartered status would be advantageous but is not a pre-requisite. The team can provide support in achieving chartered status.
• Demonstrable understanding of current design codes, standards, and best practices in geotechnical design, but also open to exploring new methods and innovations.
• Proven leadership experience in similar roles, appropriate to your level, with the ability to inspire and lead teams.
• Willingness to travel throughout the UK.
• Clean driving licence.

• Technically proficient, passionate about pushing the field forward.
• Thrives on solving complex challenges and enjoys thinking outside the box to deliver sustainable and innovative solutions.
• Values teamwork, mentoring, and leadership, and is keen to help shape the future.
• Familiar with established methodologies, but also eager to embrace new tools, technologies, and ways of thinking.
