A well-established environmental and acoustic consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Acoustic Consultant to support its expanding Chesterfield team. This position suits an acoustician with around 3:4 years consultancy experience who is keen to take on greater project responsibility and build strong client relationships.
In this role, you will contribute to a broad range of environmental noise, building acoustics, and infrastructure projects. Your work will include noise and vibration monitoring, acoustic modelling, and the preparation of clear, high-quality technical reports. You will also work closely with clients, planners, and regulatory bodies to support successful project outcomes.

Ideal Candidate- 3:4 years experience within an acoustic consultancy
- Strong working knowledge of BS4142, BS8233, BB93, and environmental noise legislation
- Experience using Cadna
A, Sound
PLAN, or similar acoustic modelling software - Excellent communication, reporting, and organisational skills
- Degree in Acoustics, Physics, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Full UK driving licence
- Salary between GBP
32,000 and GBP
42,000 (DOE) - Hybrid working arrangements
