Lead Data Centre Commissioning Engineer

Lead Data Centre Commissioning Engineer required for a successful HVAC company that owns 2 manufacturers and operates across 65 countries. They are looking for a Lead Commissioning Engineer to join their team due to expansion across the UK.

The Lead Commissioning Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all commissioning plans are executed and will work closely with the Control & Commissioning Manager.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Carrying out the Air Handling Unit (AHU) commissioning tasks according to the established script.
• Leading the commissioning to comply with the health and safety measures required for each site activity.
• Working closely with the Project Manager to deliver the Commissioning Programme within the agreed timeframe and budget.
• Travel abroad to various Data Centres across Europe and to the company's factory in Germany as required.

Job Overview

• Highly desirable previous experience in HVAC.
• Strong commissioning knowledge of AHUs, chillers and various critical cooling appliances for Data Centres.
• Must understand the principles of airflow and take measurements such as electricity, pressure, temperature, humidity.
• Working at height is required so MEWP and harness experience is preferred.
• Demonstrable experience of HVAC and MODBUS.
