Senior Acoustic Consultant | Chesterfield £32,000 - £42,000 + Benefits

A well-established environmental and acoustic consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Acoustic Consultant to support its expanding Chesterfield team. This position suits an acoustician with around 3-4 years' consultancy experience who is keen to take on greater project responsibility and build strong client relationships.

In this role, you will contribute to a broad range of environmental noise, building acoustics, and infrastructure projects. Your work will include noise and vibration monitoring, acoustic modelling, and the preparation of clear, high-quality technical reports. You will also work closely with clients, planners, and regulatory bodies to support successful project outcomes.

The Ideal Candidate

3-4 years' experience within an acoustic consultancy

Strong working knowledge of BS4142, BS8233, BB93, and environmental noise legislation

Experience using Cadna

A, Sound

PLAN, or similar acoustic modelling software

Excellent communication, reporting, and organisational skills

Degree in Acoustics, Physics, Engineering, or a related discipline

Full UK driving licence
