Long Term Futures are working with a supportive and welcoming Alternative Provision School in Chesterfield (S41) seeking a confident, resilient and personable Peripatetic Tutor to support pupils across the Chesterfield area and neighbouring towns. This is a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity for a committed individual seeking a long-term, permanent position.

Your Role
This is a unique role working "on the road," delivering tailored tuition to 3-5 pupils per day in their homes, alongside conducting unannounced Safe & Well checks. The school provides full planning and learning materials, as well as training and ongoing support.
Provide tailored one-to-one support for pupils with behavioural needs
Help create a safe, inclusive, and structured learning environment.
Support pupils' academic progress as well as their emotional wellbeing and personal development.
Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and families to deliver person-alised learning plans.
Contribute to behaviour management and therapeutic support strategies.

What We're Looking For
A full UK driving licence
Access to a vehicle with business insurance
A genuine desire for a long-term, permanent position
Confidence working independently and managing your own daily schedule
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and families
Enhanced DBS on the Update System
