Salary: £90-£100 per day (Depending on experience and/or qualifications)

Contract: March 2026 – July 2026

Source Supply is currently recruiting an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant to join a primary school located in central Chesterfield. This role is based within the nursery setting, therefore applicants must hold a DfE‑recognised early years qualification. Previous experience working in an EYFS environment is highly desirable. The role will also involve some nappy changing as part of the daily routine.

We are seeking a warm, nurturing individual who is enthusiastic about becoming an active part of nursery life. The successful candidate will be confident in supporting small groups of children, have a good understanding of the EYFS curriculum, and be able to extend children’s learning through high‑quality, engaging provision.

Salary is dependent on experience, qualifications and training. All successful applicants will:

• Hold a DFE recognised qualification in early years
• Experience in working with children in a school or specialist setting
• A nurturing, patient and consistent approach
• Have referenceable experience working in a school setting.
• Be passionate about education, with a desire to help young people thrive.
• Be an excellent communicator with a positive, can‑do attitude.
• Ideally hold a full, clean driving licence and have access to vehicle.
