• A qualified teacher with substantial experience in secondary PE
• Proven leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team

• Impeccable attention to detail in planning, assessment, and curriculum development
• A commitment to inclusive, high‑quality physical education for all students
• Experience organising sports fixtures, trips, and whole‑school events

• Lead and manage the PE department, including staff development and performance
• Design and deliver an engaging, inclusive PE curriculum
• Monitor and evaluate teaching standards and student progress
• Coordinate extracurricular sports and inter‑school competitions
• Ensure health and safety compliance across all PE activities
• Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to promote whole‑school wellbeing and physical literacy
