About the Role

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Event Assistants to join our team at various events and exhibitions. This is a hands-on role for those who enjoy being busy, helping others, and gaining real-world experience in event management. You will be at the heart of making our events run smoothly, supporting visitors, vendors, and venues, while also helping us capture and share the event experience on social media.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend events and assist with all aspects of setup and breakdown, including moving tables, chairs, and equipment.
  • Welcome visitors and sign them in efficiently.
  • Guide visitors around the venue, providing directions and information about the event。
  • Be available to answer visitor and vendor questions or queries throughout the event.
  • Assist vendors with loading/unloading, setting up their exhibition space, and light exhibition-related tasks.
  • Allocate vendors to their designated space and ensure everything is set up correctly.
  • Walk around during the event, engaging with vendors to ensure they are happy and have everything they need.
  • Encourage visitor engagement with vendors, activities, and the event agenda.
  • Assist with public announcements and potentially speaking on stage during the event.
  • Take photos and videos during the event for social media, helping to showcase vendors, visitors, and the event experience.
  • Ensure the venue is respected and looked after, maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
  • Take on any ad-hoc tasks to support the smooth running of the event.
Requirements / Skills
  • Hands-on, practical approach and willingness to get involved in physical tasks.
  • Comfortable using social media and capturing content in a professional, respectful way.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Professional and well-presented at all times.
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills.
