Are you looking to build your career in Quantity Surveying with a growing and forward-thinking construction company? We are seeking an ambitious Quantity Surveyor to support projects across the East Midlands and Yorkshire regions, with a strong preference for candidates based in or near Sheffield.

About the Role

As an Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial team in managing costs, contracts, and financial reporting across a range of construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience and develop their career within a supportive and professional environment.

Projects are primarily located across the East Midlands and Yorkshire, including Sheffield, Leeds, Nottingham, and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting with the preparation of cost estimates and budgets
Supporting the preparation and submission of interim valuations
Assisting with subcontractor procurement and management
Monitoring project costs and reporting on financial performance
Supporting the preparation of final accounts
Assisting with contract administration and documentation
Liaising with site teams, subcontractors, and clients

About You

Degree or HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management (or working towards)
1-3 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying or commercial support
Strong numerical and analytical skills
Good knowledge of construction contracts (JCT knowledge desirable)
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Full UK driving licence
