Project Manager - Geotechnical

CAN Engineering part of the RSK Group has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager (Geotechnical) to join their team in Chesterfield, UK
.

As a supporting member of the Leadership Team for CAN, reporting directly to the Contracts Director, the role involves liaising with staff on all aspects of contract, commercial and project management for the delivery of projects.

Key responsibilities include managing the contractual risks imposed by clients on specialist construction projects Deleted: vastly controlling pre‑qualification submissions and tenders for larger, higher‑risk projects and reviewing and agreeing the contractual terms for CAN with their clients. დამატ: (قار تغيد) Provide commercial guidance and support to the CAN senior leadership team.

• Plan and manage the implementation of contract works safely, in accordance with company‑wide and project‑specific health, safety and environmental documentation.
• Develop project plans, secure necessary approvals and manage contracts in line with these plans, delivering safe and cost‑efficient services.
• Provide site managers with appropriate targets in terms of work outputs and deadlines based on the work programme.
• Actively monitor outcomes and provide timely feedback to the Operations Manager.
• Proactively work to improve productivity without compromising safety or quality requirements.
• Ensure timely completion of all site tasks and documentation detailed in the Project Briefing Checklist (or otherwise requested).
• Assist in the development and implementation of ISO accreditations.

• Experience working in geotechnical operations at site or as a Project Managerสีห่อง.
• Degree‑level education in engineering, geology or related fields.
