Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable CNC Press Brake Operator with recent hydraulic press brake experience to join our 1st shift team. This is a hands-on role for someone who can program at the machine, run efficient setups, and consistently produce quality parts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
If you take pride in clean bends, accurate dimensions, and doing things the right way the first time-this position offers stable work, consistent hours, and the opportunity to grow in a professional shop environment.
What You'll Own
- Set up and operate hydraulic CNC press brakes to form metal parts per print requirements
- Program at the machine and perform edits as needed to ensure proper bend angles and dimensions
- Maintain, update, and manage CNC programs for repeat jobs and production efficiency
- Interpret blueprints and work instructions to ensure accuracy and quality
- Select proper tooling and perform efficient job setups to support production schedules
- Use standard inspection equipment to verify dimensions and ensure quality output
- Perform in-process checks to maintain tight tolerances and reduce rework/scrap
- Follow verbal and written direction and maintain a high level of professionalism on the floor
- Keep work area clean, organized, and safety compliant
- Support continuous improvement through strong communication and process awareness
- Work overtime and Saturdays when needed based on production demand
- Minimum 3 years of recent press brake experience (must be a primary job responsibility)
- Proven ability to:
- program at the machine
- set up jobs efficiently
- maintain CNC programs
- Ability to work in an ever-changing / high-mix environment
- Strong blueprint reading skills
- Ability to accurately use and understand:
- tape measures
- calipers
- micrometers (as needed)
- other standard measurement tools
- Ability to lift 30+ lbs without assistance
- Reliable attendance, strong work ethic, and safety mindset
- Ability to follow written and verbal directions with accuracy
1st Shift - Monday through Friday
- Option A: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM (10-hour shift)
- Option B: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (8-hour shift)
- Saturdays: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (as needed)
- $18 - $21/hr, based on experience
- Overtime available when production demands require it
