Responsibilities
- Safely rig and lift heavy equipment using a variety of techniques and tools
- Assemble, install, and align machinery, ensuring that all components are secured and in proper working order
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment, inspecting for any signs of wear or damage and making necessary repairs
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to plan and execute project timelines
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine the best approach for rigging and millwright tasks
- Operate forklifts, cranes, and other heavy equipment as needed
- Comply with all safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in rigging and millwright work
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Proficiency in operating forklifts, cranes, and other heavy equipment
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols related to rigging and millwright work
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members
- Be able to pass Background and Drug Test
