Overview
The Controller will serve as a critical leader within the finance department, overseeing the daily accounting operations and ensuring the integrity of the financial reporting for a multi-entity manufacturing environment. This role partners with leadership to provide deep-dive analysis into manufacturing costs, inventory accuracy, and operational KPIs that drive profitability. The candidate will manage a team while refining ERP processes and internal controls.
Responsibilities- Financial Oversight: Direct the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all financial statements are prepared in accordance with GAAP and internal corporate policies.
- Manufacturing Cost Accounting: Manage and refine standard costing models, work-in-progress (WIP) tracking, and inventory valuation. Conduct deep-dive variance analysis (labor, material, and overhead) to identify operational inefficiencies.
- Internal Controls & Compliance: Lead the design and implementation of robust internal controls. Ensure compliance with multi-state sales tax filings and coordinate all activities for external tax and audit firms.
- ERP Optimization: Drive process improvements to automate manual tasks and enhance data visibility across the manufacturing floor.

Oversee the lifecycle of vendor and customer contracts, ensuring financial terms align with company risk profiles and revenue recognition standards. - Strategic Partnership: Assist in the development of sophisticated KPIs and dashboards. Provide actionable insights into project profitability and departmental spending.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and develop the accounting staff, fostering a culture of accountability, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Controllership experience (5 years required).
- Accounting Leadership experience (5 years required).
- Manufacturing Cost Accounting experience (3 years required).
- Internal Controls experience (5 years required).
- ERP Optimization experience (3 years preferred).
- Financial Oversight experience (3 years required).
- Education:
Bachelors degree required.
Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 per year

8 AM - 5 PM
