About the Role:

The Field Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution and management of field operations across various projects. This position involves coordinating logistics, managing on-site teams, and serving as the primary liaison between field staff and headquarters. The Field Coordinator is responsible for monitoring project progress, addressing challenges promptly, and ensuring compliance with organizational standards and safety protocols. By effectively organizing resources and communication, the role contributes to the timely and successful completion of field activities.

Ultimately, the Field Coordinator supports the overall mission by facilitating efficient field operations and fostering collaboration among diverse stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in project management, logistics, environmental science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in coordinating field operations or project management in a similar environment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage complex schedules and resources.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Basic proficiency in using project management and communication software.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in remote or challenging field environments.
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) or logistics.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to field operations.
  • Ability to speak multiple languages relevant to the project location.
  • Experience with data collection and reporting tools used in fieldwork.
Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate daily field activities and schedules to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Manage communication between field teams and central office to relay updates, challenges, and resource needs.
  • Oversee logistics including transportation, equipment, and supply management for field operations.
  • Monitor compliance with safety regulations and organizational policies on-site.
  • Support problem-solving efforts by identifying operational issues and implementing effective solutions.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on field progress, resource utilization, and any incidents.
  • Facilitate training and orientation for new field staff to ensure understanding of protocols and expectations.
